Description

Mole removal is a minor medical procedure used to eliminate moles (also called nevi), which are small, usually benign growths made up of pigmented skin cells (melanocytes). Removal may be done for cosmetic reasons, irritation, or to evaluate for skin cancer if a mole appears suspicious.
